Mounjaro July 2025 Market Review

By Dan Fallon, Director, PharmacyPriceHound

Welcome to our July 2025 market review for Mounjaro. We have reviewed the UK pharmacy market to discover which pharmacies offer the best prices for Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) based on real‑time data collected by PharmacyPrice Hound’s research team.

PharmacyPriceHound exists to help people buy prescription medication at the lowest prices. Pharmacy pricing is complicated and we aim to simplify it so you can buy medicines from reputable pharmacies for the lowest price.

As background, Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is typically prescribed with dose escalation over time, often starting at 2.5 mg weekly and increasing in steps to 5 mg, 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, or 15 mg depending on clinical need and tolerance.

Typically pharmacies offer lower “loss leader” prices for the 2.5mg dose as this is where new customers typically start. They also offer first time buyer discounts & subscription offers. If you anticipate increasing dose (which many users do), then consider choosing a pharmacy with competitive pricing across all strengths, not just the 2.5 mg starter dose.

Given that most customers move onto other products we looked at pricing for all dosages allowing the pharmacies who offer more even pricing across strengths without huge jumps to shine. Our “All Doses Combined” price adds the cost of a 2.5mg, a 5mg, a 7.5mg, a 10mg, a 12.5mg and a 15mg to replicate a 24 week programme that staircases from 2.5mg to 15mg.

Mounjaro Price Analysis – July 2025

For 2.5mg doses the lowest price without a discount or first time buyer code is Farmeci at £115 followed by Oxford Online Pharmacy at £119.99 and Ashcroft Pharmacy at £120. Looking at the highest prices then it’s Dr Frank’s at £220 and Boots at £219. Obviously with the latter you’ll get Advantage points but it’s still very expensive.

Before you rush to do a consultation with Farmeci take note that their 5mg price which you’ll likely soon be moving onto is £159 vs. £138.97 at Oxford Online Pharmacy and £134 at Ashcroft Pharmacy. Taking it further & looking at these for an All Dose Combined price and Farmeci is £1022, Oxford Online Pharmacy is £1018.8 and Ashcroft Pharmacy is a fabulous £924.

Looking at all pharmacies on an All Doses Combined basis we get Ashcroft Pharmacy offering the lowest pricing with £924, Pharmacy Online at £948 and then Cloud Pharmacy at £967.94. Other honourable mentions go to Asda at £973.88, WePrescribe at £977.94 and Chemist4U at £984. The most expensive for All Doses Combined are Dr Franks at £1485, Boots at £1394 and Superdrug at £1370. All offer subscription deals and loyalty points but probably not enough to compensate for the high initial prices.

Our July 2025 Winner is…

So in conclusion the PharmacyPriceHound July 2025 Mounjaro Award goes to Ashcroft Pharmacy with a 2.5mg price of £120.00 and an All Doses Combined price of £924.

If you fancy the convenience of a major retailer then Asda at £128.98 for 2.5mg and an All Doses Combined price of £973.88 deserves consideration. They are offering the lowest starter & continuation prices of the high street brands.
